Change of use to commercial (office) space
Mid West Planning has obtained many consents for conversion from agricultural use and other uses to commercial or employment workspace.
These include full planning applications for change of use of former agricultural buildings to employment uses including offices, workshops, holiday accommodation and change of use of land to non-agricultural uses such as storage use, renewable energy uses, dog walking fields and holiday accommodation sites.
We can help you obtain planning consent for a change of use on your farm buildings. Some farm buildings can be converted to residential use through Class Q agricultural permitted development rights as well as the full planning permission route.
Planning permission was obtained by Mid West Planning Ltd at Kinver Point Business Village for conversion of agricultural buildings to office use under Class R permitted development rights.
The scheme was technically challenging from a building regulation perspective, but resulted in the innovative re-use of former grain storage silos at a former farm in Staffordshire to provide rather unusual high quality office accommodation!
